ABOUT
Introduction
I have a deep passion for ACG (anime, comics, games) culture, which began around the age of 12 or 13. Since then, I’ve watched a vast amount of anime and developed a profound interest in cosplay. When ACG culture was just emerging in my country, I attended numerous conventions, finding it fascinating and almost unbelievable to bring creators’ worlds to life. This experience planted the seed for my interest in prop-making. As a teenager, my limited budget meant I couldn’t cosplay many characters myself (most of my money went into Yu-Gi-Oh cards), so now I hope to make up for that by offering quality props at the fairest prices possible.
In university, I majored in design and developed my own aesthetic and understanding of interaction and industrial design. Unlike real life, the designs in games and anime are often more exaggerated and use bolder colors. However, the props and costumes on the market often struggle to balance price and quality, resulting in a flood of low-cost, low-quality products. My approach to props is that they should be authentic and functional, with attention to details like weight and materials. This way, they can genuinely integrate into fans’ lives rather than just be single-use items. For material selection, I generally use 3D-printed PLA as the primary framework and am committed to using eco-friendly materials, both to protect the environment and to avoid harmful substances like formaldehyde from spray paints.
Some people might see my fascination with cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic themes reflected in my web design. This brings me to my favorite artist, Tsutomu Nihei. Whether it’s BLAME!, Knights of Sidonia, or APOSIMZ, his works present a unique postmodern dystopian worldview. In these worlds, natural landscapes are almost nonexistent, replaced by metal, pipes, and vast, cold architectural spaces. Although distinct from the traditional apocalyptic wasteland, it still creates a sense of the end-times. There is no absolute good or evil, only the desire to survive and the goals that must be achieved. In this view, there is no absolute truth; reality and truth are plural, and everyone has their own “truth.” Romance, then, is two people floating together in the corner of the universe.
In the end, I sincerely hope that every fan will be satisfied with the props they receive, have fun, and stay true to their original love.
